Barnaby Bear in Hong Kong:

We went to the island of Lantau today with Annette on a ferry.  When we got there, we took a bus and went to visit a Buddhist Monastery at a place called Po Lin.  The journey too about 40 minutes and went up into the mountains.  The monastery is a big place but we were not able to see too much of it.  We saw lots of monks there, and some statues of the Buddha in a temple.  There were lots of incense sticks being burnt which had a nice smell, but I didn't want to go too close in case my fur got singed.

The biggest statue was on top of the hill itself and must have stood about 50 foot high and took 3 or 4 minutes to walk around.
