Barnaby Bear in Hong Kong:

Today we all went in the car to the New Territories. This is an area of land on the mainland which is quite unlike the bit that everyone thinks of as Hong Kong. No big buildings, lots of space to see.

We went to a brass factory where Mr Bird bought some candle sticks, Shona got a Chinese dragon and Gemma got a Happy Buddha. I didn't get anything, because I've got nowhere to put them ,and anyway there was so much to choose from - I just couldn't decide.

In the evening Mr. Bird and Chris and Annette went to a party. The rest of us are having an early night, because we go home tomorrow and the journey will be quite tiring.
