Barnaby Bear in Hong Kong:
This is our last day in Hong Kong and I am looking forward to getting back to
school. It will be hard to say goodbye to Chris and Annette who have looked
after us very well and taken us to all sorts of exciting places, and it will be
hard as well to say goodbye to Mildred the maid who was very kind and played
with me and the girls and cooked our food and did our washing as well.
We took a taxi down to the Airport Train Station where we checked our bag in
and got our train tickets. This means that we will not have to carry the bag all
the way to the airport, which is a long way. It also means we'll say goodbye
here in town and not at the airport.
When we did that we went to a place called Dublin Jacks, where we had lunch
with Annette's friends, Ann & Andy before we went up the escalator one last
time.
The girls went to the playground one last time, then we had a roast dinner.
The girls had a bath, and it was back to the station. Time to go home!
When we got to the airport, Mr. Bird showed us an airplane that was hanging from
the ceiling. I do hope it is not the one we are to go on - it doesn't look
very big or comfortable.
