Barnaby Bear in Hong Kong:

When I woke up, Mr. Bird and the girls were having breakfast.  It looked nice but I was not hungry.  It's quite boring on the plane; the only thing I can do is listen to music or read a book.  It is nice here even though it's boring but I do miss everyone at school.  Hopefully we'll get to do some nice things in Hong Kong.

When we arrived at the airport we were met by Chris and Annette who are friends of Shona and Gemma's daddy, Mr. Bird.  We went for a drive in their car which is yellow and crossed a big bridge.  The airport is on an island which used to be much smaller but was made bigger so that the airport would fit on it.

Hong Kong is a funny place because all the buildings are so tall - there are not many small buildings here.

We got to where Chris and Annette live and parked the car in a big garage which is on 6 floors and have to walk up two floors to get to the lift.  They live on the 12th floor which seems high, but the building has 34 floors and the building in front has 54!  There are some which are even taller.

Chris and Annette have a lady called Mildred who looks after their flat; she comes from somewhere called the Philippines and lives here as well.  She took Shona, Gemma and me down to the play area on the ground floor where there is a slide and some climbing frames.  There is a swimming pool as well but I won't go in because my fur will get wet.
