Barnaby Bear in Hong Kong:

Today Mr. Bird, and Shona and Gemma and Annette and I got the bus which goes down a very big hill to the river and got a boat to a place called Kowloon.  Annette said it was a very famous ferry called the Star Ferry because all the boats are named Star something.  The one we got was painted yellow but most of the others are green and white.  When we got off the ferry I was very surprised and confused because the bookshop was called the Swindon Book Company.  I thought we were in Hong Kong which we must have been because there is not a river as big in Swindon.  And the views were much nicer.

Mr. Bird says it's not a river and is called Victoria Harbour.  We went along the bank for a while before walking up one of the shopping streets called Nathan Road.  Apparently it is a very famous road and very noisy.

We went into Kowloon Park for a walk and saw a lot of pink birds in the lake.  They looked very pretty and Shona said they were called flamingos.
