Barnaby goes to Hong Kong - the confessions of a traveling bear.Hello. My name is Barnaby and I am a school bear. I live at Tregoze Primary School in West Swindon and, although I'm little, I've been to some interesting places.In November 2000 my friends Shona and Gemma, who were in Mrs Tudors year 3 class, took me and their daddy all the way to Hong Kong, on the other side of the world. It took ever such a long time to get there and we flew in a very big plane.We stayed with some friends of Mr. Birds, who is Shona & Gemmas daddy, and went to all sorts of places. The friends are called Chris and Annette and they are very nice. There was also a nice lady called Mildred, who looks after the flat.Anyway, this is my story about my holiday. It's taken me a while to write it because as Pooh said from the bottom of his hunney jar, he is a bear of "very small brain" and as I am a bear as well, I must be too. It doesn't help that I cannot write, so I had to think real hard and Owl wrote it all down for me. Mr. Bird says that Owls spelling is interesting, and it took him a while to correct the grammar.
